Default Where to buy: axle back bolt on exhaust straight pipe

Anyone know where I could buy a bolt-on axle back
pipe to replace my rear box (muffler) ?

I'm not looking for name brand stuff, just a straight pipe
going to the rear with tips, or I could use my existing tips.

I want this to be reversable if the noise is too much..

Thanks!

looking for something like this, but
at a reasonable price, it is just a pipe after all.

The price is in the fitment. Talk to some decent exhaust shops, preferably custom / hot rod places vs. chain stores.

Straight pipes will resonate alot!
I had a pair on my car which had small straight thru mufflers and they resonatet alot, will probably be even worse with no mufflers at all.

The sound was superb but could't stand the resonance in the car.

Weight reduction plus a silky smooth sound .

On a personal note I would go the elite rr system powerhouse has one fitted to his xkr

Consider an slim glass pack... I tried two magnflow style mufflers and the car became a dog. It drove like cr** and sounded like cr**. Big old waste of money.

+1. Too much buzz in my car with straight pipes, and too loud inside and out. It did make me laugh, but with the way I enjoy driving, I needed to be a little stealthier. If my car came with the stock XKR-S back box instead of straight pipes I would have kept it, but I'm happy with my Borlas.

Given your location will be subject to high shipping charges, can you find a local shop to make something for you instead? This would likely end up the lowest cost, and you're guaranteed a good fit.
