Splitter/Sills Color
Do the majority of people prefer the splitter/sills black or getting the exterior black design package to make them body colored? While personal taste is a huge factor, did the color of the body impact the choice? I’ve decided on BRG for the color of the car.
Thank you in advance.

Depends on which sills your getting. If it's the wider ones of recent years my choice would be to remove them of make them black. Definitely not body colour under those conditions. If they are the older narrow ones then body colour can work ok. The sills as a general thought make the car look a little 'fat'. When narrow or black they look better because the recede in the minds eye.
Front splitter and rear defuser I like black, though my diffuser is body colour, I still like it. Again it's personal choice.

my car was all black. but when i got the car wrapped bright blue, i kept the front splitters, side sills and rear diffuser black. it gives it a more aggressive look without making the car look fatter as mentioned above.

If you really dont like them they are quite easy to remove.
Why not remove the sills?
I believe there might be some rivets that need to be drilled out and replaced, but otherwise should be straight forward.
I thought there was a post here of someone that did it. I cannot find it now to save my life looked for hours.
My car is a lease, no mods, no removing sills. Part of the reason I leased is so that I am not encouraged to make modifications. I almost spent as much on modifications to my Vette as I did buying the car....never again.
