Brake Dust
Switch to Porterfield brake pads.
Sonax and other iron removing wheel cleaners do a great job of cleaning the wheels. Coating the wheels will again aid in making the wheels easier to clean. To minimize dust you have to change pads. The Porterfield R4S is the best option right now. The only other aftermarket pad out there right now is the the EBCs which are terrible IMO.
Sonax works well. Smells horrendous however so do yourself a favour and lock it away when stored somewhere the vapours can't escape.

I also used Sonax and it works great. I then found Griots Heavy Duty Wheel Cleaner and like it better. Doesnt smell bad and it sprays on sudsy and covers better with less product. Results same as sonax, just my preference.

i've gone through about every iron reacting wheel cleaner on the market. the best value with least smell i've found is gyeon iron. carpro ironx lemon isn't bad but i had 2 bottles with major leaking/dripping problems, so i won't go back.
