So after some extended testing and studying on the electrical handbook. It appeared to be the aux relay and the #15 fuse in the trunk fuse box. After replacing the fuse the IP starts working and while driving it for some period, the fuse #15 suddenly popped again and the IP stopped working.
What does this indicate? What are the next steps I should check?
