Default 4.0L Throttle Body return spring

Question about a TB return spring. Just saw an engine pic of a 95 or 96 engine compartment and noticed a separate return spring which I do not have on mine. Was this extra spring the result of a Service letter? Is it stock and i am just missing it?
Thanks.
The picture snip is of the engine from the car ad.

Some users add an extra spring to it so maybe that's a user addition?

If you have a sticky TB, apart from replacing the bottom spring which is still available cheaply from JDHT look here:

Add an extra turn for each of the two top springs and it will work as new.

I replied to your attached referenced post and asked where the A and M locations were located. Where the cable housing attaches to the bracket? So its not for another cable, its for Auto or Manual?

Yes, I would think so. Whether I'm correct or not I'm not entirely sure but it does make sense I suppose?
