There might not be a center bolt under the nose opening to attach it to.

Default STO N SHO for SVR

The standard F-Type STO N SHO will not fit our SVR's due to the unique ground effects trim. I'm working with Mike to have one developed. I'll post when it's available...

Gibbo, I'll be crossing that bridge myself in a few weeks. What I do know is that the emblem is "seated" with 3M Tape in the holder. My guess would be to try and get behind the holder and try to push the two stems that are on the badge out.

If someone has a better suggestion I'm all ears!

I replaced the growler badge on my old XFS, and I'm guessing it would work the same on the F-Type.
The badge is simply glued on with what appears to be the same glue that they use for chrome/plastic lettering etc - grey coloured and very sticky but not impossible to budge.
On the XFS I poked a very small screwdriver into the tiny gap around the outside of the badge, then gently levered away. If I had my time over again I would probably use a very thin plastic trim removal tool instead. Then, once you get one side/edge of the badge to lift a little stick a bigger lever in there (again I would use a trim removal tool) and keep gently levering while working around the badge. Eventually it will come all the way off.
Clean up the glue residue (but no need to go nuts, a little left behind is no problem) and the new badge should simply be a case of "peel and stick".
The new badge should have two locating tangs/prongs on the back of it that go into two holes/slots on the mounting plate so you can't go wrong positioning it.

Is it model #SNS139? Do the two mounting bars fit above the chin piece and below the carbon fiber splitter? It sounds like it mounts directly to the hole in the middle like all other F-Types(?). I was concerned that the C/F splitter stuck out too far and the bracket arms weren't long enough.

Was that late push by the SVR because the GTR was backing off or did it get a late surge after a gear change?

GTR lifted as he caught me at 150mph.

Here is round two where his launch is better though still cannot match the SVR, but he stays flat and passes me around 150mph.

AWD / SVR owners after speaking with Dale Lomas today I've had it confirmed I was not imagining it about the car feeling more sure footed in the wet when in wet mode instead of dynamic. He has confirmed the car in wet mode puts the AWD split as close to 50/50 as possible, whereas dynamic mode is 90% rear driven. He said at the ring he uses wet mode when the track is wet or slippery with traction fully off and manual sport gears as it gives a real advantage over leaving the car in dynamic mode. So its confirmed on AWD cars the modes do impact the AWD torque split.

Doesn't it pull back the engine power and reduce the throttle sharpness? My car starts to feel like I am driving an economy car when I put it in snow/wet mode.

Engine power is not altered, if you go WOT you get full power in all modes.

All the modes change is the throttle curve effectively making the pedal longest in rain mode, longer in normal and shortest in dynamic amongst other areas of the car such as dampers, traction control, gearbox, steering and the AWD split.

10% throttle in dynamic gives you 20% power.
10% throttle in normal gives you 10% power.
10% throttle in rain gives you 5% power.

100% throttle gives you full power in all modes.

They just change the throttle mapping to make the pedal more or less sensitive.

I did several 1 mile runs last weekend and in wet mode I hit 186mph, in dynamic mode I also hit 186mph.

Interesting, Would love to see the differences in launch times (0 to 60mph runs) between the modes. I am assuming you are including manual shifting, because in rain snow mode, it shifts way too quick (even in sports transmission mode). It surely does not let the revs fly from my experience. Or may be I need to floor it. Another 1000 miles to complete my break in.
