Does any know how to reset the Service Reminder that has just started showing on my dash?

Yes. I've done it several times on my 2010 XF 5.0, but it can take several tries because you have to be very quick (all steps have to be performed within 3 seconds). Here are the instructions:


1. Press and hold rear fog lamp switch
2. Within 3seconds, turn ignition on, do not start engine, and leave it in the ON position
3. Release rearfog lamp switch
4. Press andhold trip button (end of left side stalk) and then press and hold rear fog lamp
6. At this point you will see “ResettingService Light” message in message center
7. Keep holding both trip button and rr foglight button untill the “Reset”is displayed.If you let go too soon you will have to start again.

and I cannot stress enough that this is SUCH a pain. I must have tired it ten times before it took. On my 2010 xf supercharged it did not say "reset", but the next time I turned the car on the service message was gone.

 

Ok, thanks, but all those instructions are for different versions.

My '15 does not have rear fog lamps, for instance.
