Default Online service history system

Hi guys, I recently picked up a used F Type R. Prior to collection it was agreed that this years service would be completed. I registered for the online service history system that gives me the detailed outline of the history. The service that was supposed to be done prior to collection is still not on this online system. I emailed the dealer and assured me the service was completed and it takes time for the records to update on the system. It is currently showing that the service is 25 days overdue.

Anyone shed any light on this? Does it usually take this long for the system to update?

True, so no one in the states can help, but he's in Belfast. I'd be surprised if there's much delay getting the repairs posted.

Meanwhile, ask the dealer for a copy of the repair invoice and/or service history.

Mine take about 2 weeks to show up online (but are back dated when they do, so they are entered correctly). It took just over a week for some recall work to reflect as being done on TOPIx too, so I suspect the data is not posted in real time.

It sounds like yours is over a month late being posted though, so I would email the OSH help address to query rather than pushing your dealer again so they can check.

They drink a lot of beer in North Ireland. I'm sure that is reason for the delay.

I really wish we had it. They keep saying we will soon, but no actual date so I keep checking and hoping.

Thanks guys, just an update on this. I contacted the dealer I bought the car from and they said it was forgotten about by their service team, so human error that the service entry wasn't updated on the website. Glad I am really fussy about this kind of thing and glad I followed it up, otherwise the service history will have a missing record. It was also part of the deal that the service would be carried out prior to collection so I would have been pretty annoyed if this wasn't done.

(also the service was done in Scotland and not Ireland...so can't blame the beer for this one...actually the Scots enjoy their beer too!)
