Have you just had the ATF changed? That could be the reason:

That would be a SERIOUS ****-up...

Anchor bolt is a big allen bolt, fill plug is a little rubber cap. I sure hope this is not what has happened to him!

Hi Juan, greetings, but can I please offer 2 quick suggestions ...

Instead of resurrecting about 8 long gone threads ... some of them up to 4 years old ... all on the same subject, why not do this:
  1. PM each of the last posters directly (click on their name, select personal message), or if unsuccessful;
  2. start you own thread; state your car model, year, engine etc; briefly set out your problem (OK to select reverse gear, but won't engage); what steps you have taken if any; and ask for help specific to your car.
I find it helps if you can demonstrate you have read through as many relevant threads, and workshop manual, as possible to convince those who might help that you are not asking others to do your homework for you. The fact that you have identified so many related threads, points to you having done this already, so I hope my suggestions provide you with a better way to solve the problem you may have.

Best wishes,
Ken
