Jaguar XJ6 series 3
Hi everyone here,
I am new to this forum.
I have bought a Jaguar XJ6 series 3 recently for myself as my first dream car.
It has some bits to work on so i am starting on my journey to repair and replenish the car by myself now.
First thing I really need to repair is my speedometer, it doesn't work at all but the odometer is Working.
Would anyone know what should I do for the first step, should I take it apart and see what going on inside? Or should I change the actual speedometer?
I am a newbie to car but I am willing to learn so if anyone has any ideas about it, please give me a hand

Hi and welcome aboard.
Series IIIs are great cars. Built like tanks and drive like velvet.
Best to post technical questions in the model-specific sections ad make sure to include the year

What part of our Island is home to you?
Also the year of the beast will help a lot.
I suggest a re-ask in the XJ6/12 (S1/2/3) Tech Section. Doug in Seattle will see it, and he is the S3 Guru in my Opinion.
