Hello. My 2006 S-Type needs a new brake booster. I did some research and still managed to get one that was supposed to be correct, but was not!
Pictures show the differences. The remanufactured one has a 5 pin electronic connection and the original has a 4 pin. Also the original’s electrical connection mounts on the round hole that has some sort of vacuum assist apparatus? The remanufactured one has the same hole but no apparatus behind it.
maybe someone has an insightful solution please?

Without a MAKE, MODEL, YEAR or VIN range, you will not get the correct part number.
The JEPC lists Brake Booster part numbers according to about 10 VIN splits and 2.7 Turbo Diesel, 3.0, 4.2, and 4.2 SuperCharged petrol.
Each having a different or superseded number.

What is the year,make,model and the last 6 digits of your VIN. What you keep posting has no value.
We do know it's a 2006 S-Type but we need the rest of the details.
