Angry XK transmission leak

I own a 2007 XK which developed a little seeping around the lower pan 2 year ago. I replaced the pan oil etc and still leaked. This past winters cold the oil leaked out in a large puddle. I took it to a garage the specializes in older cars. They replaced the oil pan/oil etc and it’s leaking again. Is there another seal that I’m missing?

The sump has a gasget or seal to the engine block . The sump also has a drain bolt with a washer/seal . There is a fill plug just above the sump on the side of the gearbox, part hidden and obscured on the XK by the exhaust. There is also a seal on the electrical connector to the box . A bit higher up the gearbox.

Can you smell the oil as gearbox oil . It does have a distinctive smell.
