Not sure if I missed it but old Jaguar in Play Misty For Me, Cline Eastwood drove it a lot. Amazing movie!! So bad it's good.

 

I don't think this was mentioned, how about the black XJ in Underworld driven by Kate Beckinsale?

 

What about the jaguar in Cat Woman?

I'm a Jim Jarmusch fan. There was also a Jaguar XJS used in the start of his 1999 film Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai. Coolness...

Just sat through 2 hours of a typical Aussie movie.
Best part was BRG S1 XJ6, next best part was Claudia Karven.
See her in later movies,great.

I've been watching "Gilmore Girls" on Netflix. Please don't laugh at me.

 

Just watching Play Misty for me, Clint Eastwood.

XK150 Black Convertible plus heaps of other classic cars...beautiful. ..


Also watched Le Mans today with Steve McQueen. Very brief but you see a 1950's Jaguar XKSS (or is it a D-type?) on display at the carnival. Had to rewind and pause to see it.

It's subtle, but the new Denzel movie, the Equalizer. One of the bad guy is in his garage in his XJ. Either an XJ6 or 12, you can only tell by the side lights, and gas cap on the right rear.

 

Jim Jarmusch movie : Night on Earth

First story set in L.A. Wynona Rider as the Cab driver. You see as she is driving the talent scout lady to her home and an XJ6 pulls out in front as she's driving along.

Once she reaches the talent scouts home, you can see an XJS parked out the front.

Jaguar XJ6 series 3. A car driven by Tom Waits who unknowingly has a dead body in the boot!

 

XK140 driven by the criminally insane Dandy Mott from American Horror Story: Freak Show.

That is the 2nd Jaguar I have noticed in this TV series. Man that is a nice set of wheels!

 

American Horror Story strikes again!

This time it is season 5: Hotel.

Late in the season (I think episode 9) Ramona Royale gets her back story explained. Flashes back to the 90s and she rocks up to her fathers house in an XJ-S. Green from memory. Probably a facelift model.

Movie Straight Outta Compton, a late 80's Jaguar XJS can be seen parked when the red BMW pulls out as Ice Cube is looking out the school bus.

Any body have any more details on this one? There is a clearer view of this in the movie but this is the only pic I could find.

mmm....makes you wonder what a high school kid was selling after school in Compton to afford a brand new Jaguar XJS in those days lol!



This film also has a great selection of 80s and 90s cars. I was drooling the whole way through...
