Don't know if I posted this or not, its been SOOOO LONG since I hung out here but....

Look for a TV series called "Sensitive Skin" starring Kim Cattrall, Don McKellar, Colm Fiore and Elliot Gould. Season one is on NetFlix now and it is six 30 minute episodes. Anyway, Kim and Don's character drive a 2001 XJ-8 as a family car. Its the main vehicle for the season.

Best part is there are no Jaguar jokes, not even inferred.

And a behind the sceens tid bit for you... Colm Fiore's character drives a brand new S 550 Mercedes, the Jag is not new its over 20 years old. The Jag performed flawlessly for the entire six weeks of filming. Not ONE glitch.
The New Mercedes however,,, not so good. Needed boosting just a bit.
That's only good for a chuckle, but there.

Look for it on Netflix and season two is ready to air soon.
Sorry to say no Jags to be seen in season two although frankly the show is so good it doesn't need a Jag for you to get hooked.

Very, very extensive use of a lovely Mk II in the largely forgettable NZ film "Mr Wrong." The car is basically one of the main characters....

TV Series Fresh off the Boat :

An XJS owned by the neighbours next door to the main characters family. IMCDB says this is 1987 but being a convertible wouldn't this make it after 1989? Those rims I can't pick either. Thoughts?

I like that show. But that's a pre-facelift.

Those colour-coded bumpers are interesting. Looks like the car's been customized front and back from the bumpers down.
