I've seen the mark 2 already on top gear...and im a little confused I don't think that was the first car with disk brakes...perhaps it was the first production car but I wouldn't be too sure of that either, maybe someone more knowledgeable then I knows. But that XJ13, what a car! If Jag hadn't been hurt by the unions and BL among other things, imaging how many leaps and bounds it would be ahead of almost every production car company.

Thanks for the video. The MK 2s are truly beautiful cars. I would rate them and the XKEs as the most beautiful road cars Jaguar has built. You can certainly see the lineage in the modern S-Types and the XK8/Rs. Since I have an S-Type, I am a bit biased.

Ha. Jag-You-ahhhh! That is truly a beautiful car. It's a shame that Jaguar couldn't carry on the traditional lines in the S-type.

Hey Navy,

Go to ebay (U.S.), punch in "Jaguar project", and see what you think. The car looks like a rustbucket and the reserve is unknown, but it might cure the itch as a starter MK II.
Just a thought, I saw the ad and your video popped into mind.
