Default Radio Aerial Up Heater Blower Running With Key Out Ignition Off

i looked over to my xj40 1994 the other day and notice my auto aerial was up when i whent to check the radio and the heater had come on on their own with no ignition any ideas or is my car haunted

Hi billy graham,

I have moved your post from an unrelated thread to begin your own thread on this topic.

My first guess would be that your ignition switch stuck in the position II (ON) position but the key barrel allowed you to withdraw the key, or the Ignition On relay stuck in the closed position. There are other possibilities such as a short to ground somewhere that affects the radio and blower motor circuits. You can download the wiring diagrams at this link:
