Cutting SERVICE KEY (Tibbe Key)
Good morning,
I bought a GREEN KEY for my XJ40 (1993) and I found a locksmith who can help me to cut this key.
He has already cut other two keys always for my JAG.
The GREEN (service key) should open the four doors, cranks the engine but not open the trunk and the glove box.
I know it's not very difficult to do but I can't remember which ridges must keep untouched (not cut)
The last one (8)??
The last two (7-8)??
Can you please help me?
I've read something on the web but I can't find this information anymore.
Many thanks

Thank you Larry, the only difference is the tip.
I can cut the Green Key (Wallet key) and it will work as a wallet
key without any modification...I was wrong.
At first sight I didn't see any difference...BUT!
I tried the solution on the forum without success, your answer saved me a lot of time.
