Another problem I have is the passenger side underscuttle pad and the steel plate behind it.
I can't get the plate remounted after removing it. What am I missing? The lower right hand corner
won't return to its position, (actually both lower corners). Is it possible something else has moved out of position?
I'm at the point where I'm either not going to use it or bend up the corners (last resort), any ideas?

Hi Roger,

I can't remember our '88 having a steel plate behind either underscuttle, but I'm fairly certain that our '93 only had a steel plate on the driver side. Is it possible that's where your steel plate goes?

My '90 has the plate behind the pad. My problem was a temporary case of **** cranial insertion.
I installed a small amp to far forward, moved it back a bit and problem solved.
