Clicking/Tapping Noise from Jag

Clicking/Tapping/Rubbing/Knocking - Noise from Jag
Hello All
I went away for about 5 days, my CAT doesn't get heavy use either, but when I came back and turned the car, I noticed a considerably loud clicking/rubbing noise coming from the Jag. It was loud during idle whilst i was in park.
It did take slightly longer to turn aswell.
The sound gets faster as I accelerate and slows down when Im idle.
The sound gets louder if I stick it in neutral, yet when I put it in reverse or drive, it goes back to its normal loud sound.
It is loud enough that i can hear it with the windows closed.
The sound is very prominent from the drivers side of the car.
I will try to take a recording as it is difficult to describe the sound. It is rather fast, like every half second whilst in idle. As RPM increases, the sound of the rubbing/clicking is drowned by the noise of the engine.
It is not a rattle
It is not squeeky
Model : Super v8 1998
Mileage : 105000
Oil : Looks like it hasn't been used since its last service in March. Clean.
Temps : Temp gauge reaches middle and is fine.
How was the car before this issue? Perfectly fine.
I start the car whilst pressing the accelerator, then keep it pressed to about 1.5 revs for a few seconds and let the car settle. The reason i do this is that otherwise the car starts then cuts itself off. The last time this happened i was lucky as it was at the garage so they had to take the plugs out and clean out the oil. Then once plugs were put back in, it was fine. But they told me to always start with the accelerator. Luckily it was them that flooded it!

Now you hear that noise at that speed? Well its that but without the girly "hah" sound. If you try it yourself now, at that speed, try to breathe out like that, well that's the noise i hear from my car.

You mention Super v8 1998 in the post but show 1996 XJ6 SPORT 3.2 AUTO in your Signature. Which is it?
