I have been trying to find a good jag independent to service my XK does anyone no one in the west London ?

You will find it difficult as rents etc are so high in London. Have you tried an internet search ? YOu could also join one or both of the Jaguar clubs - Jaguar Drivers Club, and Jaguar Enthusiasts Club. Their magazines have loads of ads for specialists. I had a quick look in my JEC October mag and there are none within the M25, but a few within about 40 miles. There aren't all that many main agents in London either. Creamer Bros, a main agent, are in London somewhere. Labour rates will be horrendous, I would think.

 

Creamers are in Kensington; there's also Lookers (used to be H.R.Owen) near Hangar Lane - I've used both, when I lived west, but they're dealers, so not cheap. I've tended to avoid Stratstone after some bad reports.

These days I use Les Pauls Motors, an independent, but they're out east near Redbridge so not much use to you. There's The Jag Workshop in Ealing - I have no personal experience of them.

 

I have heard some conflicting reports on the jag workshop from a few people who have used them & say since they moved you do not get the quality & customer care you used to get. One of my friends said that there is going to be a new independent opening in Chiswick in the new year, I will have wander round there & let you know my thoughts..

Surrey Jag is in Croydon and they seem to have a good reputation.
Might be a bit of a trek for you depending on the exact bit of West London you are harking from as it were.
