Default Hello from Bucks

Hi All,

Thought I'd poke my nose around the door. I live and have lived in Bucks all my life (nearly 32 years). I'm a villager through and through and live in the Chilterns; some great driving roads around here).

Look forward to seeing you around.

Mart

Hi all, I'm Andy, I live in the extremely rural village of Kirk Ireton (5 odd miles outside Matlock, Derbyshire). Quiet place with some wonderful roads (well discounting the potholes).

I just got myself this 2 litre Diesel X-Type, that I'm quickly falling for, so much so I think its time to ditch the old MX-5 (yes it drives that well).

Looking forward to learning a lot from this community, and hey who knows the odd drive and meet for a jar of cloudy tepid...... water :P

Hi Stav and Spaceman, thanks for adding to the list.

You both live in beautiful locations, but I am more familiar with Matlock, used to cycle all over the Peak District and once got stuck in Matlock. Following road signs every route I took out of the center led me back in to the center!

See you around,

+1 on translators comments.
Derbyshire is beautiful...like a miniature Scotland

I used to travel there extensively, and visit customers ( quarries ) such as Shingbank, Doveholes, Cauldonlowe and others.
I will be there from the 22nd June at the quarry exhibition held at Hillhead quarry in Buxton every 2 years. It gets really quite mad around there this time of year with all the plant / exhibitors etc etc......
I'm sure you guys must have heard of it?

How often do you usually have meets in Britain? Planning on a trip for the summer and would be nice to meet some Jag people if I ever get there....

New owner of a 2003 XJ6 (X350) in Crewe after an 8 year layoff. Last Jaguar was a 1980 XJ6. For sheer value there is not much to beat this car !
