Have you seen the 6 month grace period for MOTs ends at the end of July. So if yours was due in August, it still is. Mine’s due on the 2nd so I need to get one booked in. My XK which I bought in February is due an annual service then anyway so no real issue but this is the first time I’ll trust it to anyone; so can anyone recommend a specialist/ independent near Chester? I’ve found the Chester Jag Centre (B&W Automotive) in Ellesmere Port; any good or bad experience of them?

 

I used to do my own servicing but my XK came with a full Jaguar service history and I found Jaguar "fixed price" servicing is sufficiently cost effective to make even buying the oil and filter for DIY a waste of time.

If you decide to use an independent this at least gives a good comparison on costs.
