Follow-up FYI....
I visited T's Sunrise Upholstery in Englewood today. The shop is very clean and organized and the owner was very pleasant. I saw some of the work they were doing and the quality was excellent.
Only problem is, they mostly work on antiques and pre-50's cars. They will do an E-Type but nothing newer.
I can recommend the quality of the work and the customer service of the owner but they cant help me with my XJS. E-Type owners should be in good hands.
----NEXT----
Jaguar Denver is a local shop that only works on Jags. They sent me over to Klints Custom Auto Shop in Englewood. Klint's has experience with both older and newer cars and have done several XJS's. The workmanship I saw looked pretty good and I think they would do a good job for me. I was quoted $950.00.
I'm sure the price is fair but I really don't want to spent that much. I think this is going to turn into a DIY project. I can fix anything on a car I'm sure I can learn how to do a top. (I'm also sure I'm gonna eat these words later! ;-))
First things first...choosing who to order a top from. Let the fun begin!
