Just a reminder for the All British Car Show in Safety Harbor. Last year we had about 2 hundred cars entered.

Hello Fellow British Car and Bike Enthusiasts,


You, your family, and your friends are invited to attend the 27th Annual All British Field Meet and Autojumble on Saturday, October 26, 2013 in Safety Harbor, FL (see attached flyer). The event is organized by the Tampa Bay Austin Healey Club and we are returning to Safety Harbor for the fourth year. We had 200 entries in the 2012 event and Safety Harbor estimated over 5,000 general public attendance. The Main Street in downtown Safety Harbor will be blocked off for the day and cars will be parked along the street. So whether your car is in concours condition or an everyday daily driver, come and enjoy the day with other British car enthusiasts.


Jaguar will be the featured marque for the 2013 event.

So mark your calendar for October 26. Registration will open on August 1 – check our club web site at TBAHC.com for registration information. We hope to see you along with many other British car enthusiasts at our happening in downtown Safety Harbor.

I will be helping park the cars, should be done around 10. I'll see you at some point, don't know which cars I'll be parking yet.

 

Ok great. I've submitted a request for the forum banner. Considering the fact Jaguar will be the featured marque, we may pick up some new members!

 

hopefully I can make it to this. I really hope I have get my bumpers and front lip and whatnot painted before then too.

With Jaguar being the Featured Marque I hope we get a big turn out. There are always a number of XKE's but, only a hand full of later models.

I am working parking entrants so hope to see everyone when I finish, around 10AM.

 

Quick update, To Date there are 198 cars/bikes registered and it is anticipated somewhere between 30 to 50 additional entrants will register Saturday morning.

It is a great show, see you there.

 

Me and my wife are planning to be there with the XK8.

Gonna register when we get there.

 

Well, the weather was picture perfect! temps in the 70's and not a cloud in the sky. My wife and I arrived just after 9:00am and were shown our way to the Jaguar block which was right in the middle of the show. We were parked with the other 3 sedans, a 1960-something S-Type, an early 70's XJ6 and a black 2002 XRJ.

I am sure there were well over 200 vehicles, all British and mostly cars although there were 2 Mini-based trucks and a good sized group of Brit motorcycles.

I did manage to spend some time talking to fellow forum member Dave Rothwell. He brought his XK8. it was evident he has put a lot of work into it looking as good as it did!

I'm surprised to see the popularity of MG in the US but amazed to see a Royal Mail mini van there!

Graham, I was surprised at the amount of MGs at the Toronto show, I got MG'd out and had to skip a couple of rows!
