Wink New to MID Atlantic

Hello everyone!! I'm as excited about this forum as I am about the car lol.

Let me introuduce myself I am a middle age male living in the DC metro area, working in the Department of Defense.

My romance with the jaguar brand began shortly after I could walk. As a kid I had poster's of various Bond jag's all over my room.

Jaguar has always been the car of my dreams. Growing up poor It was really a dream lol. But now after all those years of dreaming I finally got it, My Dream Car! Jaguar!

I'm the proud owner of a 2003 S Typer R Supercharged I call her Black Cat. Yea I know its corny lol. As my wife says I'm a man in love with a car. Because this isnt just a car to me it's a dream come true I want to pamper this car to no end.

Thank you all very much for all your tips and advice. Thanks.

dqwatson, welcome to the forums. As the others have said, this place can get addictive. If you ever need a helping hand with your car, I am about an hour south of you in Maryland. I am always working on cars. Also, keep an eye out here. I am going to be trying to plan a few get togethers for the members to enjoy.

Cool

Thank all of you very much for the welcome. I feel at home. And my wife already started asking what the hell am I typing so much lately lol. @Thermo I would love to hook up and learn a few things from you. I want to drain and refill my trans but I must admit I'm a bit intimidated by the ZF. If your willing to help me out with that at your leisure I'll owe you a debt for life. Again thanks all.

Default Local Cars & Coffee

In case you're interested, we have a pretty good turnout of Jaguars at the Saturday morning Cars & Coffee in Great Falls, VA -

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/m...alls-va-77291/

...and we often have a few Jags Sundays at Fair Lakes Cars & Coffee -

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/m...rfax-va-53001/

I've met several Jaguar owners at both events. (A lot of other really interesting vehicles there, as well.)
