Upcoming Northern VA Events for Jaguar People
All:
A couple of items I wanted to make sure everyone is aware of -
Sunday, April 26th is the first British car show of the year in this area - Britain on the Green, held at Gunston Hall. Always a pretty good showing of Jaguars. Show field opens at 9:30AM. You can pay at the show, if you have not registered already. Details -

Sunday, June 7th, from 7:00AM to 10:00AM, we will hold our 5th iteration of A Pride of Jaguars. This is an informal meeting of Jaguar people, held at East Market at Fair Lakes (the shopping center in Fairfax, VA that has Dick's Sporting Goods and Kohl's). We have a popular vote for 'favorite Jaguar', and some door prizes.
There is an optional brunch at a nearby restaurant afterwards. People who have attended in the past will tell you - this is a very good time. Some use this show to schedule drives, either before or after the event.

Looking forward to the next APOJ5. Always a good time and maybe this time we can bring a dishwasher and show people what we use them for. LMAO. Hopefully the Iguana is on the slate afterwards.
Bob, random thought. Since it is getting near summer time, would there be a park in the area that we can get everyone to and do a BBQ? Just a thought. I don't want to burn up everyone's full day, but it might be fun. Something to think about.
Bob, I can get the meat through the commissary pretty cheap. then people can toss a few bucks my way to make up the difference. Let me know if you are interested. I can get a wide assortment of meat for whatever we may want.
A really good show, despite the fact that predicted rain stopped the night before, and never threatened the day of the show. Cars in attendance were far fewer that most years - precisely because of the question of rain. The quality of cars & people was excellent. A pretty good showing of Jaguars!

Some other favorites from today... This cute little girl helped me try to sell my XK Coupe! That last picture is of a white Bentley. That car is special to me, because my wife & I rode in it from our wedding to our reception, back in 1999.
