There was some talk of doing a meet and greet of us midwest guys/ladies!

So let's plan it out.....

I would say Sundays are best for most people.....

We could plan a meet somewhere in the burb's and drive down to the city for a late lunch and pics

There is also a car/bike show w/ awards at Hooters.....I usually go and it is not for the food!
The first one will be 5/16 in Joliet
We can all plan to make it to the one in Orland Park on 5/30

What would you guys/ladies like to do?
Lets plan it out and show off our cars to one another and others!

It would be nice to do a lil cruise with the cats and stretch the legs a lil'

So let's hear the ideas!

I will be at the Hooters show in Aurora, IL this sunday w/ the bike as it will be 90 out.....but bring the Jags and enter them.....I won a trophy last time I brought mine

Hey Guys, Lets get the jags together while the chicago weather is looking sunny.

So we mostly agreed that a Sunday is the best day.

Anyone want to put out dates? I'm good for any Sunday, just need a day to spruce up the car.

July 11th.....SUNDAY

Meet in burbs od Chicago (Schaumburg area maybe area in the am.....Streets of Woodfield, large parking lot)....
Cruise down to the lake (Maybe Indiana Dunes or North Side of Chicago, where ever it is still nice), some spirted driving along the way....
Park the cars near the lake, shoot some pics, hang out by the water, enjoy the day at the beach.....

How does that sound? Fun for us gear heads, show/shine guys, family fun.....bit for all....

 

I'll be in for a meet and greet when I get back, in late July. If you don't mind a old XJ6 tagging along.

Yea we need to get these Jags all lined up for a meet.

Seems some are a bit leary that it will only be 2-3 cars that actually show up.

Lets keep this thread alive! How many cars we have so far for sure?

 

i will be down as long as it's on a sunday...i'm not a huge fan of driving down town though...

 

No downtown...construction is killer on the expressways..

If it is more out west, I'm down with it!

There are some small food places out by me that kinda encourage mini car shows in there lots..( I'd say 30+ cars could fit w/o business disruption)

Goodies in Geneva IL is one of them.
