just want to thank this website and its members. my 2002 xkr convertible top stopped working before the top was closed. it closed all the way down except for the last inch. The latch missed the catch on the top. once the latch closed everything to do with the convertible top switch went dead. the windows also would not go up. I got a message on the dash that said "Hood not latched" I used the allen key located on the hydraulic pump to manually open the latch. once I did this I got power back to the switch and the top opened and the windows closed. Everything seems to be working fine now.
