Default XK Battery

I'd had some concerns about the battery in my 05. Not sure of age. Checking for batteries online, found a few matches, but to my surprise one day at WalMart, there was an exact fit. Go figure.

I checked with the manufacturer of the MAXX -H- (series 14) (replacement for OEM battery on 2005 XK8 and yes it is vented. One on each end of the battery. One is used by the vent hose the other is plugged - plugg provided. If my memory serves, the price is $109. In stock at my local Wal-Mart.
