CEL wouldn't make a difference when taking the turns. LOL
I'd love to come hit the curvy roads but I'm having a small problem with a broken sway bar bracket. THAT might cause a problem when trying to tackle the corners!

I'll be Behnid Bob's Discount Furniture by the Customer Pick-up dock @ 11:15....
I was thinking we should go the windy way - hop onto the Bonx River Parkway to the Tackonick to Root 202 West to the Bare Mountain Parkway, hanging a right at Annsville Creek past Camp Smith and up that windy road to the bridge and across...
I hope its not a blustery rainy day like today....

PnyKlr and Meatbag met in Jonkers NY and drove the 30 miles up the steep windy roads on a blustery fall day to Bear Mountain, hoping to find dozens (or at least a few) other Uagujar enthuiasts... After a nice little drive, we arrived to find that the place was overrun with Oktoberfest - the parking lot was full, and closed. We parked along Hessian Drive and hung out for about 90 minutes swapping jag stories, car stories, work stories, life stories and so on. It was nice to actually meet one of the forum regulars in the flesh.
It would have been even better if more folks made it. Not sure whether it was disorientation due to the lot being closed, or whether Noah Bahdi actually came or what, but it would be nice to try again next summer.
(Pnyklr sopotted the Mustang tribe - about 15 of 'em - leaving as we were headed up there too - maybe they were displaced by the same festival.)
Anyway, here's a few pix....
