trying to decide on a purchase. with condition and service history equal and color liked equally as well, here are my 2 cars available :
1997 xj6. gorgeous red, 65000 miles, $10000
1996 vanden plas, gorgeous green, 102000 miles, $7500
i know it has to be a personal choice, but was wondering if something about either one would heavily favor either one \

"Something about either one" are you asking about any common repair issue? Or just a driving/ownership feeling?

 

Tough call.

If both are in great shape you're likely to be equally happy with either one....so there's a good argument for saving $2500 !

All else truly being equal, and if forced to make a decision, I'd by the 65000 mile car, personally.
