Hi Guys I'm new to jaguars, (Own a couple of CL500 and other). But just bought a 2009 Jag XF premium model with 57K miles on it. It is banged up a bit. But I'm going to fix it up and probable tune it up a bit as it is like a blank canvas lol. I will probable throw on a Aero pack and black pack but keep color and chrome trimmings. Also may do black rims. Just wanted to know if anybody knows of a good shop to take it to in the NYC area and advise regarding the car. Costs and issues I should look up for and any information on parts will be helpful

Unlike the XK and XJ, the XF doesn't have an integral body/chassis in aluminium. Instead, it uses high-strength steels, plus a wide variety of materials including aluminium, composites, plastics and magnesium alloy. The expertise to handle repairs is beyond the capability of the average body shop.
