Are there any events organized where other Jaguar owners meet and swap lies about their cars and adventures? Or, possibly an organized event at the Dragon in TN where even more lies are told.


I'm not looking for events like the JCNA national meeting which I attended once without an invitation. I thought if you had a Jaguar you could just show up. They were very nice; they let me stay. But, it was all about points and shows. No one was talking about fixing, re-designs and modifications.


Does anyone conduct a traditional European Rally in the area? Real car enthusiasts where most of the good tales are told in the parking lot sitting in the summer warmth and a cold beverage around all of the beautifully parked Jaguars. Where you tell everyone you would have won the Cannon Ball Rally but your timing was off because you were a kind soul and stopped and delivered someone's baby who was caught in a traffic jam.


Is there such an event or am I just dreaming?

It is a "club points show" but there are a few of us outsiders who love to talk shop and share stories, real or imagined.

 

You also should check into J-A-N-E.org. Jaguar Club of New England. Events all over New England, well worth attending.
