Hello. I welcome all suggestions and expert advice here. My 2011 XF 5.0 SC made a loud bang a month ago, started smoking heavily from drivers side exhausts with the scent of raw fuel after decelerating from a short sprint. CEL on, showed codes 302 & 304, misfire 2 & 4. I am not a mechanic but had about 10yrs of fun repairing my previous S-Type 3.0 that was sold 9 months after this cat joined the team. All related knowledge came from this forum. This has led to me not having a mechanic.
Anyone had this or similar issue? Where was your repairs done and at what cost? Can this job be handle by a novice like myself? Thanks
