I think the rest area outside Arlington has worked well for a meeting point.

Count me in!

An amazing drive, and one befitting any Jaguar! This drive was done once before in 2015 and was a stunning drive with fantastic people, scenery, and cars!

If any are in question to how awesome this drive was, I recommend you check out the photos in the 2015 thread!

It has the potential to become a key drive for all of us on the PNW forum on an annual (or bi-annual) schedule! Let's get a group of cool cats rolling on this one!

Muddy, I don't recall... (I hear too many rum and Cokes can do that to you.... sorry...),do we have a banner?

I'm in, I may have to meet you in Sedro Woolley.
With Ferries & the Border I would not be able to get to Arlington until 10:00.
The parking lot at the entrance to the South Skagit Highway would be a good spot for me to join the group. Great for a photo opp too!

That sounds like fun! It's the same day as the Jag club's concourse in Tacoma. But I was kind of thinking of not doing that this year anyway. Let's do it! Now which car to bring...hmmm... :-)

We got Growler 'in' (who we haven't seen in a very long time!)...and havin' you and your sweatheart along most certainly is a big bonus to the drive! Hope to see you there!

My thought is as follows;

Arrive 9:15 at Smokey Point Northbound

Depart 9:30AM.

9:30 - 10:05 to Sedro Woolley. 10 minutes for last minute petrol stop and to pick up Growler:

10:15 - 12:05 to Artist Point (1:40 with a 10 minute bathroom break at the ranger station in Glacier)

Points of interest on return for those in no hurry.

If we do it that way it would mean a pack lunch at the top of the drive. We could take longer/more frequent bathroom and snack breaks as demand requires.

The Park & Ride just before the Skagit River would be a great spot to meet up.

Agreed.... Baker is certainly a worthy drive with great people. I know I'll be up by about 6 just to make the ferry schedules line up.

Look into making Tacoma at a minimum on Friday Night, and maybe heading back south Sunday? Portland to Baker and home in a day would be too stressful, even with a co-driver.

Hope to see ya though!
