Default Headliner repair - Seattle/Eastside (Redmond)

I have a saggy headliner and deteriorating A-pillars.

Any upholsterer recommendations for my area?

I just got back from Jimmy's and they wanted $3000 because they can't do it without replacing the heated windshield :/

$3,000 vs $450?!?!

Wow!! That is some disparity.

Do you have any Seattle area independent Jag mechanics you would recommend? I was thinking of having Complete Automotive do the PPI on the XF I'm looking at....

Another great shop on the East Side is Sa-Go Auto off the 134th block of Bel-Red.

Give Matthew a call- I've seen him work on everything from a '64 Spider Veloce and '05 911 GT, all the way down to a VW Super Beetle.

What type of car did you have the headliner replaced on? My XJR needs headliner work, but I'm being told that the rear window needs to come out to remove it.

Ask for Jag John at Park Place Motors in Bellevue. I brought my STR to him, as I'm DIY'ing the majority of it. He is VERY knowledgeable, but expensive. It's worth the $120/hr just to have him take a look at your PPI.

PP Motors also does Astons, though I don't know if they've a specialist like John (it may be him).

Sunmark just did our XJS as well. Prices went up a little bit but they know what they are doing.

The other 3 shops I went to told me that a windshield needed to be removed which I was not going to do or excited about.

Sunmark, got it done in half a day.

Maybe I'm a little late, about 6 months ago Johns' Auto Toggery in Mount Vernon replaced my Coupe headliner for $350. I even changed to a similar coloured silver vinyl. I live here and have been dealing with Jake and his Dad since the '80s. Custom motorcycle seats, also. Jip
