Why does the LeMay do ZERO promotion of events held on their show field. This is mentioned on neither the events page of their web site nor their FB page. Brain dead.

Heard from a friend that attendance was just 35 cars.

I’ve attended that show a couple times. What a great group of people who are all passionate about their cars. I’m not too keen on the venue, however, and wish they would pick a different site. The show field at LeMay has no trees so there is no shade to escape to on a warm day. A park somewhere would be so much nicer. The venue doesn’t compel me to attend.

35 cars sounds about right, I think it's declined in participation over the past few years. But they are a nice group and I found them very welcoming to newcomers when I attended a while back. The field itself is in pretty good shape and is located such that visitors to the museum might be tempted to stroll through the lanes. There isn't really any place for shade unless you go inside the museum. But some people like shows, some like drives. I kind of like a bit of both.

OK....you want another possiblity? Mark next July 26-28 on your calendars: Jaguars on the Island in Victoria, BC...if 35 cars doesn't move you, would 100+ Jaguars on the field from models of the early 50's to the very latest? This year there were 115 Jaguars registered for the field in a beautiful location... welcoming? yes.An interesting weekend away? you bet. Every Jaguar, regardless of age orcondition, is welcome on the field. This is annually the biggest Jaguar show in North America with cars from BC, Alberta, Washington, Oregon....
