After a 35 year hiatus from owning British cars, I just got my first Jaguar - a 2016 F-Type manual transmission in Italian Racing Red.
Looking forward to the Northwest Historic races up at Pacific Raceway the 4th of July weekend. The featured car this year is the Jaguar E-Type (I'm only one letter off!)
I'll be working a corner, but there should be plenty of beautiful Jags both at the car corral and on track.

Hi
I am in Roberts, Idaho. Proud owner of a 1990 XJS V12. It's a need of some work but it starts every time I ask her too, lucky me!! Would love to know if there is anybody near me. I have heard of someone in Idaho Falls with a XJS too but haven't seen it yet.
Hope to hear about maybe something in the area.

Patrick

Default I'm back!

As most Forum members know, I just bought a 2003 (2005.5) 3.0 S-type. It is silver in color with a brown burl trim and black leather interior.

Enjoy Independence Day! (I served my nation).

Just relocated to Sandy, OR from the Bay Area in California. Have a 2001 Jaguar S-type 4.0 engine. Doing an alternator exchange, but needing the Jag special tool 303-021 to lift the engine to get the alternator out. Is there a tool rental or recommendation for lifting the engine a bit to remove the alternator. I have it loose and am looking at the Jaguar service manual for removal instructions.

Thanks,

Don G.

Welcome Trooperdad. I don't have a direct answer for you but you may try pm-ing KenAdamson who has done a lot of work on his StypeR.

I just bought my 2006 XK8 from the previous owner in Montana and put it into it's winter hibernation two days ago. So far I am loving it.

Reminder: the largest and best Jaguar show in North America held every July (this year the weekend of July 23) - well worth the drive. Information at the website of the Jaguar Club of Victoria (Jaguarclubvictoria.ca) . Always cars from Washington,Oregon, Alberta and British Columbia.

Travis here in Poulsbo, Wa. 2017 XF 35t in Italian Racing Red Metallic. Commuting daily across the ferry. Trying my best to drive like a reasonable person. New to the forum as of yesterday. I'm seeing one or two of you out there occasionally.

Welcome Travisty! The forums have been pretty quiet since Covid, but seeing new faces always gets things moving again. There's a few of us on this side of the peninsula. You're bound to see a glimpse of another rare beast if you make it into the Silverdale/Bremerton area. We've got to come out of hiding and get to driving again! Welcome to the forums.
