Default October meet and greets

Not to sure of interest here, as I think weather and the "family season" is approaching, but as always, my arm is easily twisted into driving.

October is known for rain, so should a sunny weekend mystically apear, you can bet I will be tossing spark at the Jags cylinders, and pointing her down some local road.
If anyone can be spontaneous to weather, maybe we could get a few together for something simple like a Port Townsend run?

Thoughts?

You know I'm in! This Saturday I'm working on my car, but Sunday is likely open and it looks like it will be dry. Just let me know, I'm totally up for short drives even off-season.

he he... Don't even have my car cleaned from the last run.... yeash!

Well Marko, if you (and any other for that matter) are feelin bored Sunday, I can always go for a quick pint at the Pt Townsend Brewery! Not a lot of great roads, but still enough off the main routes to make it fun...

Well Kudos to Marko, who like myself, couldn't let a sunny weekend pass without a little time behind the wheel...
We chose to loop the Hood Canal, which proved a great choice in wandering roads and frequent flurries of autumn leaves gently blowing across our paths. Saw some great water views, and even a quick glimpse of about 20 or so Elk alongside the road... Kinda reminded me why I love in this part of the country so much!
Ended the day with a nice cold one!
Yup.... A gooood day....

Beautiful day! Was so great to be able to drive open in October. I will be in for any drives on clear days like this. Also loved the route, usually traffic prevents us in summer, but man, beautiful area...here are some pics:

Well, we know all the "Major" drives are done for the year, but I would certainly incourage anyone to announce weekend plans with their Jags and invite company! I know I always find it more enjoyable to share the adventures when they apply.

I can forsee several more nice Autumn weekends ahead before we hit the harsher weather! So owners need to speak up if you are looking at putting together a short day-drive and want fellow travelers! Partisipants just need to be somewhat schizoph...... err, spontanious, so post up!

So it looks like Exotics is winding down for the year, but this Saturday is looking promising....
Any Jags attending?

So Marko has played the "Make Vince feel guilty" card, because we have had this wonderful weather for October and taken very little advantage of it. This coming weekend is still looking cool but dry, so I ask.... Anyone interested in a run to the coast or something?
I'm open to ideas, but only have Saturday available.

It would be great to meet up for a drive again!
This offer is kinda spontanious, so I dont know how much interest can be gathered in a few days...

I'm in! I have a meeting at 10am (which I might be able to move to 9am), but free after that for most of the day. It doesn't have to be some elaborate drive/route, just cruising with some like-minded souls, sharing a meal, would be great! So, count me in.

No prob, we can keep it simple. Muddy just said he'll join too!

Should we meet in Redmond by RTC? We could check out some cars, get a coffee, before we drive a bit? What's everybody's preference?

A plan! Dang, knew I should have gone out and worked on my car last night! A drive is one thing, but displaying it at Exotics says I have my work cut out for me!

Fog is gonna make it tough for me getting there that early.... how has it been on the east side of the lake?

I didn't mean actually displaying it, we could just grab a coffee and meet there. Displaying takes too long, and I have my appointment at 10.

Well that gives me pause.... Was trying to wrap my head around getting up at 0-dark thirty and driving in heavy fog... A later gathering might be to my benifit, but I could pull out of exotics at any time...

thinking.......
.....thinking.....
...........thinking.....

Ouch!

Here is a route we glossed over last time we pulled out of Redmond for a drive.... Would love to find it and take our time on narrow country roads....

Would be fine by me. I can be in Redmond by 11am. Should we all meet there? If some want to meet earlier that works too of course.

I could handle 11 o'clock, but no earlier.
