Default Summer 2017 Drives

Here are a few gatherings you may want on the calendar!

8 July - Seattle Jaguar Club - Snohomish to Lynden. Thanks to XJDannys invite, this promises to be a drive worth attending and a chance to meet a ton of new Jag friends.

22nd July -All British Field Meet - An amazing collection of cars on display in a very stunning setting.

28th - 30th July - Jaguars on the island - I've been told this is one of the largest gatherings we will ever see here in the PNW.

5 August - Jaguar Forums drive to Mount Baker - We had a great success in 2015 with this drive, and we hope to once again see our cats own the mountain.

Late August - Early September - ???

Late September (TBD) - Jaguar Forums 6th Annual Drive to Leavenworth - Can't beat putting a dozen Jags together for a drive across Stevens during fall colors! WooHoo!

If you know of others, or want to host a drive, speak up!

I'm going on the Seattle Jaguar Club drive to Lynden tomorrow. Sounds Like fun.

Gads how I wish I could.... I messed up, because it was possible... but I should have gotten off my **** today and prepped my '07 XK (considering I need to sell her anyway). She could have shown out quite nicely amongst such excellent company, and a chance to make a few new acquaintances along the way...wow...!
<sigh>

Enjoy, and be sure to post up some pic for those of us wishing we were there!

Vince,

It's a shame you couldn't make it. It would have been nice to meet you. Perhaps another time.

Why are you selling the XK? That thing is gorgeous!! I've always thought that the XK model looks best in silver and yours is a stunner.

He has two of them now and can't figure out a way to drive both at the same time.

Yer killin me Kev.

So close to the truth it hurts laughing!

Yes my Liquid Silver is up for sale. <sigh>
I admit many loves for her over the XKR, as she is far smoother, and glides across road undulations like they don't exist.
The color is stunning even in shadows, whereas the XKRs "Claret Red" (Note: Shockingly beautiful in direct sunlight) become a bland solid maroon color in any other environment.

Ah the sacrifices we must endure for what's under your right foot!...

Here to glom on to thread to keep apprised of scheduling.

We're heading out to the Grand Tetons for 10 days today. I get back and have to fly to Cali for a few days. Then get back in time for this talk of an August 5th Baker run. Is a crazy busy summer.
