Default Vince/Growler: Remember when I said last weekend that I'd upgrade to an XKR soon? :)

Well, I did.

Just got it, so no real pics yet, but a quick phone shot. Crazy enough, it's virtually the same car I drove during our trip, only now with the "R", about 13k miles less, and now also with advanced tech package. Same color (though it seems a bit darker), same year, same interior. The only thing I don't have anymore, is the heated/wooden steering wheel (but I can live with that). Was a freak, spur of the moment, kind of thing. Can only hope I won't get punished for that, though I did get an extended warranty too.

Your turn Vince!

Sure was sudden, and I freaked out myself a bit. But it was a good deal, and I got a fair price for my XK.

I got a good warranty, I know I keep this baby for a while. It has tinted windows, which I don't like, so that will go. I also have to get used to the wheels. Much more shiny that my Carelias, I will see how I feel about them in a bit.

The driving is a huge difference...and the rest is almost the same.

Of course I let you drive it for a bit.

Sweet Marko. Got to love those spur of the moment deals. Some things are meant to be. Can't wait to see it in real life.

Same as on my XKR if you are interested. 9" fronts 10" rears.

Hey, thanks for the reminder! I'm still debating want I want to do with the wheels. Can't decide what to think of the current ones, I will drive them a bit. They're a bit too shiny for me right now, but maybe it's just the change.

Here are a couple more dealer pics...

Cheers!

LOL, signature updated! I took out the wheels, because I had no idea what the new ones are, Sentas?

They look like Sentas that have been chromed. I like them.

2007-2010 Jaguar XK / XKR "Senta" Double 5 Spoke chrome plated wheel. Hollander number: 59817 front and 59818 rear

If you decide to switch them out give me a heads up.
