Default Houston shop to paint calipers? (I'm not a DIY person)

Hello

I just recently got my first ever Jag and the only 2 things it didn't have were tinted windows and red brake calipers. Tinting is being done today but I'd like to get the calipers painted.

Searching these forums it seems most people end up doing it themselves with the G2 paint or something similar. This is something I'm not interested in doing myself.

Has anyone used a shop in Houston; Galleria area or west side to have anything like this done?

Thanks for any tips.

On a side note, these forums have been great to hear what others have done to their vehicles.

Default Jag Shop in Houston

Here is a place to try. They're called Champion's Jaguar Service located at 11926 Cutten RD, Houston. The number is 281-586-7700. I spoke to them about bringing in parts and having them install some things just yesterday. The guy seemed pretty willing to accomodate any Jag owner's whims.

Good luck and congrats on the XK!

I hope they can help you out. If no luck, call Land Rovers Unlimited in Spring. Their number is 281.292.8022 and ask for Luis. He was a Master Service Tech with Land Rover for many years and started his own shop. He has worked on my LRs, BMWs, Jags, and even lifted my Dodge dually. He has a paint and detail guy who comes up a few times a week.

Good luck!

Default Paint Guys at

You might checking the guys in the back of the Mercedez Greenway location. They did an amazing job on some paint scratches and chips on my XKR, and they also do wheel painting. It's not the dealer, they just operate out of there, just pull around to the back N side and talk to the guys working there....

Thank you both for the other tips. I've been slacking off and haven't contacted Champion's yet either.

I'll end up checking with all three and then report back.

Thank you
