Default Need help on brake work in Dallas area

OK so my 2005 X Type (38,700) needs new pads on the rear but I am not having the dealer do it. They wanted nearly $400 just for rear pads! So I was thinking about ordering a set of drilled rotors and ceramic pads and replacing all four wheels. But I don't want to do the work myself.

I called a few independent Jag shops but they will not install with customer supplied parts and their prices were actually pretty steep using their parts. So is there anyone in the Dallas area that might do my brakes for me if I supply the parts or am I doomed to taking it to Just Brakes? They will replace pads for $160 per axle, but I can order Brake Motive rotors and pads off ebay for about $200 and other forum members say that have had great results with them. I hate to spend $320 just to get new pads when I could maybe get new pads and rotors for close to the same price, if I had someone to do the install? Any thoughts or ideas appreciated.

Try Jim's Jag Shop or Jag Mac, both off I-35 in Dallas. Several members swear by a shop in the mid-cities. Sorry I can't think of the name, but a thread search should find it.

Not sure where you are in the Dallas area, but there is also motorcarman from the forum up in Decatur. Highly recommended.
