Hey all, I am flying into Phoenix, AZ for some training for work. I am going to be in town from 09SEPT12 to 12SEPT12 (fly out early on the 13th) and was curious if anyone wants to meet up and talk cars for a bit? I am going to be there at the Southwest Microwave facility during the day, but should be off by 4PM each day. So, that leaves the evenings open.

On a side note, is there any special events happening during that time? Last time I was there, I saw an outdoor concert at the shopping complex south of town (Saving Abel, We Are The Fallen, etc) and sat on the balcony of "Cadillac Jacks" (I believe that is the name of the place). That was a good time. Looking to take in the area and make the most of it. I know one night will be spent taking sunset pics. So, if there is a good spot for that, I would be interested in that too.

I am also looking at taking a trip one night down to Tucson to eat at El Charro (Downtown) Restaurant. I need to say thanks to them for what they have done for me in the past. So, if you are down in Tucson, keep an eye out for that too.

Unfortunately, I will not have my Jag with me.

 

I'd buy you a beer Chris but I'll be back in SC by that time, I'm just going to back for a week over labour day.

Norri, bummer, oh well, maybe some other time I will make it back there. I have a few other classes I would like to take there. So, there may be another chance. We'll see.

 

I have gotten a PM from a fellow member in the area. Anyone else looking at getting together. let me know. I am sure we can arrange a night we can all meet up somewhere and talk cars and whatnot. My schedule is fairly open. Let me know.
