Wondering if any body was interested in doing a meet up one day. Maybe shoosing a saturday were alll the jags could meet up and go to the "cars and coffee" event or possibly even having a jaguar only event.

It's been a while since there was a Jaguar meet at Cars 'N Coffee. It's been a few weeks since I've gone but my X-Type is bone stock so I'd have to park in the "spectator" lot. Hah

Wow...what a great opportunity
I really hope you guys can get sufficient numbers to make this happen......The chance to meet our very own resident detailer thrown into the mix would make it worthwhile all by itself.....

It might be an idea to publish this into an area such as the "off topic section " where it might be viewed more? I don't think everyone uses the regional sections as much as they might!

Good luck

I remember being in the Mission Viejo Jaguar dealership back in December and I remember seeing a framed "thank you" note about their participation in a previous Cars 'N Coffee event in 2008. I would assume that is the one you had in mind?

As I said, its a great idea and a fantastic opportunity.
Jgene mentioned the local Jaguar dealership too "Mission Veijo"......Why not contact them and see if they're interested in hosting it? I'll bet they are!
My local Audi delaership does sumthin like this every once in a while...organises a meet, tea / coffee / biscuits etc etc and loads of members and vehicles old n new.
Itd probably be good for Dave as well and may help promote his detailing business if he doesn't already work with them!

Why not post this into the Off topic section as well where it might be better viewed?

If this does come off I for one will be looking forward to a write up of who's there, pics of members in a group and of the cars lined up.....Deffo be a sticky.

Hi,
Depending on the date, I'm definitely interested. It would be a bit of a drive for me but
SoCal is always a great place to visit. Please keep us posted as this progresses.
Thank you, VMV

GOOD NEWS

I just got off the phone this morning with "Ed" at Mission Viejo Jaguar/Range Rover, he is the service manager. I get alot of referals from them, they are a great group of people...I told him about the possibility of a Jaguar "Cars and Coffee" event and he said it was a great idea. Ed said he would get the ball rolling on his end by talking with the GM of the dealership, and aked me to call and speak to him tomorrow..

After I speak with the GM and I will keep you all updated, lets see if we can get a nice turnout for this event.

Perfect.....looks like everything is right on track! Did anyone decide where we will be positioned at the event.......this way all the "Jags" can be grouped together at the show.

Ususally the event get started at about 6:00-6:30am until about 9:00am

If any members would like any detailing or polishing perfomed to their vehicle prior to event, please feel free to drop me an IM....

I am working on getting together some gift bags (detail products) and possibly some raffle prizes for Jaguarforum members attending with their Jaguars...

If you all can help out I need to get some kind of vehicle count of members and their cars interested in showing up by this Friday...

So again please cut and paste the list and add your name if you plan on attending!

More Jaguars the better!
