Question Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus - Any experience?

Has anyone had much experience with the new Pirelli P7 Cinturato?

This has already briefly been asked in the X350 portion of the forum with a few replies, but thought it might get a little more attention here.

That thread is:

But I am very curious to hear about others' experience, especially longer term experience, with the new Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus(Grand Touring All-Season) tire.

I have a 1997 X300 XJR whose original tire specification is 255-45/17, but most of the tires in that size are very expensive, have poor mileage ratings, or both. So in looking for an alternative, I found that the 245-50/17 size is very close and in fact is the tire used on the XKE of the same year also with a 17x8 rim. So I think that size is a reasonable option.

In searching for that size, the P7 looked very interesting, especially from a performance and wear rating perspective.

The survey results and reviews at TRack are exceptional, but being a new tire it has a far smaller survey and 'track record' than its contemporaries in this segment. So I suspect those results are a little skewed to the positive, and will be so until enough time has passed for more long term feedback.

But even with that in mind, it would be very helpful to hear any feedback from owners here that have owned the new P7.

Still need to get tires, so am bumping this thread.

Anyone have any feedback on the longevity, ride quality, performance, etc of these?
