Looking at new rims - but.....
have questions on whether to buy the same size all around or stagger front/rear. What is the benefit of staggered rims? I know costwise, it will increase tire costs over the course of ownership, but is there any real advantage?
I've already picked out the style - going with chrome Coventry Whitley's and looking at 18's.
thoughts/info are appreciated

Staggered allows you to run wider rear tires which helps rear end grip in a straight line as well as reduces oversteer in turns. Plus they look better and if the vehicle was designed for it from the factory I would want to continue getting the best performance out of my vehicle.
Thanks - trying to understand and make an educated decisions. Right not running factory 17s (Lamina's) all around and was looking mainly to dress up the appearance but want to make sure it is not going to screw anything up. When I went for a quote on the Coventry's - they recommended against, but said if I did staggered rims, I could still use all the same tires - which didn't make sense to me.
Centerbore is most likely 63.3mm, and bolt pattern is 5 x 108.
This is for the 2008 XK.
