You have the misfortune to have bought a car with the metric wheels, long since dumped by Jaguar. Most owners with metric-wheeled Jaguars buy a set of imperial wheels on the internet, because metric tyres are very expensive, and also very hard to get hold of.
390mm = 15 1/2 " approx, so no imperial size tyre is going to fit your rims, you need to change the wheels, probably to 16". The later XJ40 series of XJs went back to imperial wheels, and there are loads on the internet.

Just to second Fraser's advice. If you are going to change away from those TD rims, then go up to 16" or above for after market size do not buy 15" because the correct tyres are expensive.
Alternately as you are in the UK a visit to a scrap yard should yield a decent set of later XJ40 rims/tyres a la my 92 with 15".
Or even AutoTrader and buy a whole clapped out car with good rubber, for less than the price of a set of new Pirelli's, which could set you back around Ł1000 or more. That way you will have a spares car.
This might sound over the top, but the reality is that the tyres on my 92 are worth more than the car;-(
