Default X TYPE suspension question

I have a 2004 jaguar x type and i want to lower it with the Eibach kit or the H&R not sure which one i should go with. I also would like to know should i change my struts and shocks they are not blown and ride real good still. Never lowered a car so i'm open to all suggestions thanks

Default Shocks

I can't help with the question about dropping your car. I've got a 2007 Sportwagon with 72K miles. Recently when at the Jag shop here in Tampa, I asked my service guy about replacing the shocks. He looked at me like I just arrived from Mars and said I would never have to replace them unless they start to leak. Not sure if they are oil/liquid filled or air filled, but since he didn't take advantage of my question and sell me a set of shocks I didn't need, I guess I believe him. So yours is 2004 and still rides well, that's inspiring. My previous cars used to get new shocks about every 50K miles.

I've had H&R springs but I just switched over to the KW coil over kit. The springs are great but if you have bigger wheels like I do they can make the ride harsher. I had 18's but I'm sure they will work well with 17's. Im thinking about selling them so let me know if your interested. They are in great shape and only a year old.
