XJR wheels on XK8

Could like to know if factory wheels from a 2001 XJR will fit a 98 XK8

can I downgrade without any issues?
the 19" wheels from a 2005 xk8 are more expensive than the 18" from a 2004.
can I remove them and use the 18's from a parts car?

I noticed the rears are different than the front on the 05.

If you have non-Brembo brakes, then yes. Also, the overall diameter/circumference of the tires should be the same, otherwise the speedometer will be off slightly.
